My name is Amanda and I'm 22 years old. On May 15, 2009, I graduated from my community college with an Associate of Science Degree in Secondary Education and an Associate of Arts Degree in English. I have plans to change my major once I transfer to my university. I hope to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Spanish with a second in Russian. I've just got a really strong feeling that's what I'm being guided to do, and who am I to question such an instinct? I'm not sure yet what I'll do with it, but I have high hopes!!

I enjoy learning about all things new and foreign (foreign to me, anyway!). That means I get crazy interested whenever I meet someone from a different country; I love to learn about new cultures and learn bits of new languages. I've definitely got a mind for language and a heart wide open to the cultures of the world.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing my own poetry and short stories. It keeps my mind alive and active and I have fun doing it in the process.

I'm a huge believer in family and friends and believe that all relationships should be cultivated into the best they can be, because we truly do gain from positive relationships.
